How we handle your information

When you sign, this site stores your name, your connection to Jesuit, your class year if you give one, and, only if you choose to leave one, your email address. It also stores a scrambled (hashed) version of your network address and your browser type, used only to prevent abuse; the scrambled address cannot be turned back into your actual address. We publish only the total number of signatures and an aggregate breakdown by connection. We never publish, display, or share individual names. Your name is visible only to the organizers and is never delivered publicly or attached to the petition externally. If you leave your email, it may be used to send you updates about this effort through a standard email service. Signer information is never sold. Signature records are kept unless you ask for yours to be removed.
